PONY CLUB!
The United States Pony Clubs Inc. celebrated 60 years in equine education at the 11th triennial Festival taken place July 14-21, 2014, at the Kentucky Horse Park. Over 5,000 members, their families, friends, volunteers and Pony Club leadership made the trek to Kentucky to enjoy the competition and learning opportunities.

USPC Festival Championships is the culmination of years of training and qualifying competitions for over 1,100 members, and is the most popular and best attended Pony Club activity. Pony Club is a non profit organization promoting horsemanship and teamwork.  

There were several clinics and educational activities throughout the week. So fabulous! Over a thousand riders from 51 States! Today I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia Hennon - 11 US Pony Club from Carolina Region Ashville North Carolina. LOVE her hat ! What a sweet girl- Pony Club riders everywhere at Kentucky Horse Park today!  Great Day! Next week- Hunter Jumper Show!

Kentucky on the Fourth! Kentucky Horse Park with 1,224 acres dedicated to the relationship of man with the horse - had me at the gates! The grounds are beautiful and the people were so warm and inviting it just could not be beat! (USEF moved its manhattan offices to Kentucky Horse Park in 1999- just a bit of horse trivia;) more to come...
