Farrier is defined as - a specialist in equine hoof care. We call him Leslie Falvey! The farrier association was first organized in 1356 and received a Royal Charter of Inc. in 1674. Its so important for our horses to have good hoof care. Like any athlete who spends a lot of time on their feet our horses are on their toe nails if we were to compare anatomy! Our friends need to be in tip top shape while jumping fences so We - in the Jackson Miss area- are blessed to have two great farriers! Leslie Falvey and John Weaver. Today Leslie was there and though NOT AT ALL happy with me trying to catch that Falvey smile... as he HATES his pic taken..was overall a good sport! Love those blue eyes, blue hat and that tattoo is just too cool for words! Love the hammer and anvil and the noise of steel on aluminum ; sparks flying as they get the fit just right! Only people who love horses understand the mesmerizing effect it has as we sit on our tack trunks watching someone use his God given talent,
training and hard work to help our beloved horses stay fit.... Leslie lives in Brookhaven Ms with his wife and two beautiful children. He also works for the Brookhaven Police Dept and helps coach his sons baseball in his spare time. Thanks Leslie and yep--- John Weaver -Ill get you yet!

Do NOT take my picture!!

This is the best smile he would give me!!

New shoes today---BATH tomorrow!!!
